MailChimp Settings

If you have upgraded to Pro and want to use MailChimp here’s how to set things up:


  1. Login to MailChimp
  2. Go to your Profile > Extras > API Keys
  3. Copy your API key
  4. Create or select a list
  5. Go to the Audience > Manage Audience ( Settings )
  6. Copy the Unique ID at the bottom of the page
  7. Go to the list Audience > Settings > Audience fields and *|MERGE|* tags
  8. Set the following fields: ( make sure you add Text field TITLE )


  1. Login to your WordPress dashboard
  2. For QEM Go to Settings > Event Manager > Extensions
  3. Enter your Mailchimp List ID and API key
  4. If you want automated list additions check the ‘Optin not required’ box
  5. If you want an optin there is an Optin Checkbox in the form fields
