Get your own Eventbrite key and see your events in this demo. To get a key here are the instructions

A broad search for keyword(s) across titles, location names and description data

allows you to filter on the location name. The filter can be a simple text string contained in the location name or a complex regular expression. Note regexes containing [] need to be urlencoded Also note Online events do not have a location but you can give them one with online_events_location_address

allows you to select just events where the title matches this filter. The filter can be a simple text string e.g. Singing which will display all events with Singing anywhere in the title. Note this is case sensitive. You can also use a regex without the delimiters ( if you want to use delimiters use / )e.g. /singing/i for case insensitive or ^ Singing for all titles starting with Singing Note regexes containing [] need to be urlencoded

allows you to select just events where the tags matches this filter. The filter can be a simple text string e.g. Singing which will display all events with Singing as a tag. Or as a comma separated list, then will return events that are in any of the categories. For advanced use you can also use a regex by putting # at the start and end of the string. e.g. ‘#^((?!coffee).)*$#’ will find all events with tags except tagged coffee anywhere. Note regexes containing [] need to be urlencoded

(date strings) The date range can (and should) be relative e.g. start_date_range_start=’-3 months’ start_date_range_end=’+1 year’ would show the prior 3 months and the next year ( would require also status=’ended,started,live’ )

You can has a single or list of event ids, e.g. eb_id=’12345678,99887766,111222333′ Only use this if your really need it, as the plugin works well for dynamic events.

limit to a specific organiser id if you have several – finding the organizer_id isn’t simple as you need the internal number. ( don’t confuse this with organization id) Also you can use [wfea debug='true' eb_id='youreventid'] to see the underlying data of your event to see the IDs

Only use this if your API key reflect multiple Organisations, but you want to limit to a single Organisation.

Useful to override the No Events Found Text if you are filtering Types, Categories, Historic Events etc to make the text in context of the filter

Online Events do not have an Address so you can’t filter by or display a location. But using this you can add a default address for all Online Events. A structured string of field:value pairs separated by commas. e.g. localized_address_display: Webinar, city: Online You can use these address fields address_1 address_2 city region country localized_address_display

You can override this e.g. unavailable_button=’Unavailable,myclass-a myclass-b” An event can be unavailable, when there are no tickets available, it is not sold out and tickets are not available in the future e.g. cancelled

If a door time is set – this label will be used, it will include two elements, door time and show time – two placeholders %s are required, door time is first %1$s , show time is Door Time Label (Music Promoters)%s

If a door time is shown – but the event has no door time – this label will be used, it will include one elements, show time -one placeholders %s is required.
